Well being the old married woman that I am (celebrating our 14th anniversary this coming June), I don't go out much. My husband and I like to have a couple of drinks over the weekend on our porch and reconnect after the long week. If I go out with friends, anywhere, without the kids, is where we like to go ;)

ReplyDeletewhen i'm in michigan, my friends and i will normally end up at our fave bar in the clem. or we'll start at one and work our way down through the others, but we almost always end the night at orleans. when i'm in jersey, my friends don't really like to go out to the bar, but if i manage to drag them out to the city, we end up at daltons to watch a game or o'flaherties hanging out. cinthia and i recently went to go see beauty and beast in 3d at midnight, we were the only people there, so we sang along. loudly.
ReplyDeleteErika, I often enjoy home as well with a good friend and a drink!. Kathy and Sarah you are making me home sick for NYC and Renato's.....Best Italian anywhere! I got all three of you in the drawing.

ReplyDeleteDon't actually go out too much because I live with my best friend and we are both homebodies! But if I do go out it is usually to a friend's house to play cards, listen to music and laugh together. I'm a pretty simple person, so don't require much in the way of entertainment.
ReplyDeleteOK, Maureen, you know I used to like Booboo's for a blue margarita with good friends. You know I used to work late and go out on a Thursday for a margarita just about anywhere. But these days, I'm a homebody. I prefer a night in with good friends playing dominoes. So, how much better my life would be if I played dominoes with this incredible painting hanging in my home? Loads. It is stunning! Oh, and I agree with KH. There is no place like Renato's. :)

DeleteEllen, I agree being at home is good and Dee I would love to come and play dominoes with you and have a margarita and toast days gone by. Wendy if I had 4 small ones I would be out the front door with my husband whenever the chance arose. Thanks everyone for your comments they are fun to read and make me smile.
ReplyDeleteWell, I LOVE the movies but do not go that often. Maybe that is why it is such a treat! Tonight, we are going to the Mobile Symphony, which will be very enjoyable. Also, I'm so old that I loving going out with the kids!!!!!
